How Marvin EDC Connects ATMP Centers Across the Country

How do you build a nationwide data ecosystem for some of the most complex therapies in modern medicine?

Some projects are just… different.

Supporting the University of Heidelberg in building a nationwide ATMP registry across 24 CAR-T centers in Germany is one of them. We’re proud to contribute to the INTEGRATE-ATMP project, an initiative that unites treatment centers across the country to harmonize care and data for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).

The Challenge: ATMPs like gene therapies and CAR-T treatments are transforming healthcare — but integrating them into a fragmented system isn’t easy. Disconnected EHRs, manual processes, multiple registries, and strict regulatory requirements create major barriers to scalable, high-quality data.

The Solution: Marvin was implemented as the backbone of a cross-center registry designed to handle this complexity.

The Result:

  • Harmonized documentation across all centers
  • Real-time collaboration through telemedicine integration
  • Automated, high-quality data capture
  • Inclusion of patient-reported outcomes for a more holistic view
  • Seamless interoperability with external registries

The Impact: This isn’t just about better data, it’s about enabling better care. Clinicians can now collaborate in real time, track patient pathways more effectively, and generate continuous evidence from clinical trials through post-marketing phases. Most importantly, it lays the foundation for a scalable, future-proof ecosystem that supports innovation in advanced therapies.

We are proud to contribute to this project, which brings together treatment centers across the country to harmonize care and data for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).
