Discover how the Center for Clinical Studies (ZKS) at the Hannover Medical School successfully conducted a complex heart failure study across multiple countries using Marvin.
Over more than 10 years, our customer the Center for Clinical Studies, Hannover Medical School successfully conducted a large-scale, multi-country heart failure study using our EDC solution, Marvin. The DIGIT-HF study included a planned population of 2,190 patients and involved numerous study sites across Germany, Austria, and Serbia, requiring the management of complex endpoints and long-term patient follow-up.
This case study highlights how Marvin ensured stable system performance, high availability, and consistent data quality throughout the entire study duration. Even in the face of major external challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, data collection and study operations continued without disruption. Efficient data capture, flexible study adaptations, and reliable workflows enabled the team to manage large volumes of patient data while maintaining full control and transparency.
It demonstrates how Marvin supports demanding, long-term clinical research projects by combining robustness, flexibility, and scalability in one EDC platform.
